Taking advantage of a retirement plagued Shanghai round, Team Williams had their best day out, placing two drivers on the podium. Winning from pole position, Ahmad once again proved that on certain tracks, he is pretty much untouchable. During the post race interview the Williams driver admitted that his day had in fact not quite been a stroll in the park. Runner-up Franz had provided Ahmed with plenty of pressure, especially during laps 41 through 47, and recorded the quickest lap, a 1:37.143. Series points leader DJCarney had a tough outing leaving the race with suspension failure after an off on lap 11. Next up: the series wraps with the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. The "survivors" from Sunday's event: 1. Ahmad; 2. Franz; 3. Chipwich; 4. Brigs.
